Crown has continued its push to provide better sales and service support in regional Australia with the opening of a new branch in northern Queensland.
Located between Crown’s Townsville and Brisbane branches, the Mackay branch supports mining, engineering, agriculture, logistics and retail customers from its new premises in Paget, South Mackay.
Its facilities include a Service Centre with comprehensive spare parts holdings and a showroom with a selection of new, second-hand and rental Crown lift trucks.
To further support the storage needs of customers in the region, Crown has a supply of high-quality racking and shelving available for immediate delivery.
The new branch will serve as a base for two mobile, company trained full-time service technicians, who will maintain customers’ fleets in areas as far as Proserpine/Airlie Beach, Sarina and the Moranbah mining region.
Crown has also relocated an experienced material handling expert who has worked with Crown for over 10 years to launch and oversee operations at the new dealership.
Crown Managing Director Greg Simmonds said that the new dealership is an important part of the company’s push to support growth in regional centres around the country.
“Crown has been forging stronger partnerships with customers such as Bunnings Warehouse, Coles and Woolworths through our recent expansion to regional areas, including Cairns, Toowoomba, Bunbury and Orange,” Simmonds said.
“Our expansion has also paid dividends with the numerous mining and agriculture customers we’ve partnered with since we began this expansion nationwide.
“The addition of the Mackay dealership is a logical step, and we’re looking forward to sharing our service and lift truck technology with customers of all types around the region,” he said.
The Mackay branch is located at 2/78-86 Maggiolo Drive, Paget. Call 07 3457 4500 to get in contact.
