Crown has been nominated for the International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) Award 2020. The nomination, in the “Warehouse Truck Highlifter” category, applies to the company’s ESR 1000 Series. The award acknowledges the year’s best intralogistics products and solutions and has become a well-established accolade for outstanding performance. The new ESR 1000 reach truck was nominated for the IFOY Award as the result of multiple innovations, such as the newly developed Gena® operating system and the Xpress Lower™ mast lowering technology.
Market launch – Crown focuses on real performance
Crown has launched the ESR 1000 Series reach trucks. The new forklifts are available with lift heights of up to 13560 millimetres, load capacities of up to two tonnes and can optionally be configured to use lithium-ion batteries. Moreover, the new reach truck series includes a variety of innovations: For example, mast-lowering speeds can be doubled by opting for Crown’s Xpress LowerTM technology. Furthermore, the newly-developed Gena® operating system provides the latest ESR 1000 Series with advanced productivity, safety, personalisation and management features as standard. Crown’s preferred approach to optimising real productivity and performance is to help make material handling at our customers’ operations easier, safer and more cost-effective.

Product is received from production lines in the UK, Europe and the Far East and stored at the facility before orders are picked and dispatched to retailers, wholesalers and fulfilment centres across the UK.
