Crown Lift Trucks
Crown has utilised all its resources – both in manpower and equipment – to help supply the essential goods and services vital to the nation’s wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Brothers, Carl H. Dicke and Allen A. Dicke, founded Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen, Ohio, USA, in 1945 with an unwavering commitment to customer service. Seventy-five years later, Crown is a widely-recognised, global material handling equipment manufacturer and technology provider with more than 16,100 employees worldwide, serving many of the world’s most recognisable brands and category leaders.
The UK staff of Crown, one of the world’s largest material handling companies, have carried out a variety of initiatives during 2018 aimed at raising funds for mental health charity Mind. The activities, which include sponsored walks, a car wash and a cake sale, raised a total of £7,135 for its nominated 2018 Charity of the Year.
Crown, one of the world’s largest material handling companies, is to open a new Midlands facility following its acquisition of a speculative development on a landmark site in Perry Barr, Birmingham.
A group of 15 colleagues from Crown Lift Trucks has completed a gruelling walking challenge, raising more than £5,300 for mental health charity MIND. The group walked the entire coastal perimeter of the Isle of Wight in an anti-clockwise direction, covering 62 miles of undulating paths.
