New, versatile MPC 3000 Series provides all-round versatility
Crown has just launched across Europe a new range of multi-purpose forklift trucks – the Crown MPC 3000 Series. Capable of travelling at up to 12.5 km/h and lifting 1,200 kg to a height of 4.3 metres, the Crown MPC 3000 Series combines all the benefits of an order picker with the advantages of a counterbalanced forklift. The adaptability of the trucks in the new series means they are suitable for use in a wide variety of warehouse applications.
Crown further expands its European warehouse product range by launching its new RT 4000 Series rider pallet truck at LOGISTICA 2015 in Utrecht, Netherlands. The new rider pallet trucks are available as stand-up or sit-down models, both designed to help optimise operator performance and safety. Capable of travelling at up to 12.5 km/h, they have a load capacity of up to 2,000 kilograms.
Crown continued its design excellence tradition with a Bronze International Design Excellence Award (IDEA) from the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) for Crown’s QuickPick Remote order picking system.
This year’s win adds to Crown’s growing list of more than 80 major design awards. Over the last 25 years, Crown has earned 22 IDEA awards from the IDSA, making it one of the most decorated companies in the IDEA competition. This year, only 164 products earned the IDEA from the more than 1,700 entries worldwide.
Crown has introduced a transceiver strap wireless remote for its QuickPick Remote order picking technology, which provides warehouse and distribution managers an additional wearable option for their operators.
Crown released a new ecologic™ report that underscores the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability. The report highlights Crown’s recent global efforts to minimise waste, manage energy use, and maximise product and facility lifespan. It can be downloaded here.
