Reaching new heights: Crown presents new VNA truck series at transfairlog
Between June 12 and 14, this international trade fair for freight transport and logistics management in Hamburg saw Crown presenting a range of solutions for efficient material handling from the loading bay through to the narrow-aisle warehouse. One of the highlights of the presentation was be the new TSP VNA truck series.
Visitors were able to take a close-up look at this new addition to the range at the Crown stand.
Crown developed the new TSP VNA truck series specifically to cope with the hugely varied demands that characterise narrow-aisle warehousing. The most powerful model in the series – the TSP 7000 – will be on display at the show. Ideal for working at heights of up to 17.2 metres from the ground, this VNA truck comes with a regenerative lowering system fitted as standard. The system is capable of recovering up to 15% of the energy produced while the platform is being lowered and feeding it back to the battery. As a result batteries need to be changed less often, which means shifts can be extended and costs reduced. The TSP 7000 is also fitted with Crown’s exceptionally stable and popular MonoLift™ mast, as well as the MoveControl™ seat for a safer and more ergonomically efficient working day.
“Prior to every new development Crown carries out extensive market research and incorporates the resulting customer feedback into the development process. These new products are intended to meet our customers’ specific needs for high-bay storage solutions. When people visit us at the trade fair, they’ll be able to see the results of our efforts – long-lasting, ergonomic, efficient lift trucks – for themselves,” confirmed Ken Dufford, Vice President Europe at Crown.
Live demo of fleet management technology
Alongside these new products, the company will show off existing products in Hamburg, among them the
ESR 5000 reach truck. With a top speed of 14 km/h and ergonomically optimised operator’s compartment, the ESR 5000 is ideal for high-efficiency workflows. Crown will also present the Crown InfoLink® fleet management system, capable of collecting vehicle, fleet and application data in real time and presenting fleet managers with a single, user-friendly overview. InfoLink® helps Crown customers raise productivity and streamline working processes while simultaneously reducing operating costs. Crown will be demonstrating how smoothly InfoLink® interacts with Crown’s lift trucks live on the transfairlog stand.
