Crown DT 3000 Series of double stackers available with new operator platform configurations
The double stacker trucks in Crown’s popular DT 3000 Series are highly versatile. Used as pallet trucks, pedestrian stackers and double stackers, DT 3000 trucks help to improve efficiency in materials handling wherever they are used. Now these compact machines are available with a range of new operator platform configurations: Crown has the right solution to meet every warehouse need.
Double stacker trucks are expected to be versatile. Frequently these machines are not just used for loading and unloading lorries, but also for transporting goods around warehouses. This means the trucks often have to travel considerable distances – which is why Crown now offers certain models in the company’s popular DT 3000 Series of double stackers with a rear or side entry fixed operator platform.
Covering ground in safety and comfort
To make sure operators stay safe over long distances, models with fixed platforms are fitted with patented Entry Bar Safety Switches. This feature causes trucks to come to a stop if the operator moves his or her foot outside the platform perimeter – a major safety enhancement. This thoughtful touch is just one example of the many innovative ergonomic features which characterise Crown double stackers, such as low step height, a wide entry, and cushioned backrests or side supports (depending on model).
For really demanding conditions, rear entry models can also be fitted with Crown’s patented, weight-adjustable FlexRide™ platform suspension which optimises shock absorption based on the individual operator’s weight. This creates an even more comfortable working environment – for even greater efficiency.
In addition to fixed-platform models, DT 3000 Series double stacker trucks are also available with no platform or with a folding platform, for ultimate flexibility.
