Crown’s Powered Stacker Series WF 3000 / ST 3000 / SX 3000 has once again won the approval of a panel of design judges for the third time due to its excellent design. It was recently awarded the ‘Gold IDEA’ in the USA a part of the Industrial Excellence Awards 2007 held by the ‘Industrial Designers Society of America’ and the magazine ‘Business Week’, for which 1691 products were submitted. A member of the judging panel commented:
”Crown has once again set the standard for well-designed, intuitive, attractive and functional products. You just want to start using these products straight away.”
Maximum performance and durability with minimum maintenance costs
The WF 3000/ ST 3000 / SX 3000 Stacker Series therefore impressed the judging panel with typical Crown expertise in design and robustness, the centre-mounted innovative X10® handle, a compact drive unit and an extremely tight turning radius. All models are manufactured in Germany and are suitable for a wide range of uses in the toughest of working conditions in retailing, distribution centres and warehouses. In comparison to competitors, Crown uses considerably more steel in its chassis design, whereby particular attention is given to exposed sections. Crown therefore offers a unique life-time guarantee for the chassis in this series.
As early as 2006, Crown’s pedestrian stacker WF 3000 proved to be a success with international design judging panels in Germany. It received both the famous ‘iF product design award‘ from iF Design Forum in Hanover and the coveted ‘red dot award‘ by the Design Centre Nordrhein Westfalen for superior and innovative design.
